During the summer of my senior year, I performed mentored research on microbes causing blood-like hues in Eucharistic wafers, raising questions on the validity of a selection of these miracles. Another activity I decided to do was intern at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center’s general laboratory. This opportunity allows me to gain early work experience in healthcare, and learn more about the biological processes that occur within the human body.
